Public officials will meet Thursday to discuss the future of sewer access on Hilton Head Island.
Town Council and Hilton Head Public Service District Commission members will hold a "sewer summit" at 5 p.m. at Town Hall, 1 Town Center Court.
Officials will discuss plans to extend sewer to the 920 island properties that lack access. They'll also talk about how to pay for homeowners who have access but can't afford to tap into sewer lines.
