Hilton Head mayor was paid to testify for Coral Resorts

Mayor Drew Laughlin, who says he testified as a private citizen, did not disclose to a state real estate board that he was an attorney for the Hilton Head Island timeshare company. The company appeared before the S.C. Real Estate Commission to assert that its registration to sell timeshares was in good standing.
