The Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute Paver Installer Course is a two-day class designed for companies and individuals involved in the residential and commercial installation of interlocking concrete pavements. Topics covered will include Material 7 labor estimating, job planning, soil classification and compaction, safety and maintenance, and management. Participants who pass the exam and meet the minimum experience requirements can apply to receive a certificate as a certified installer.
The course will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 27-28 at the Bluffton Chamber of Commerce. Registration is $250 for institute members, $350 for nonmembers. The registration fee includes an exam.
