Carson Realty has added Debbie Beck as a Realtor. She has lived in the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton area for 18 years. Previously, Beck worked at Turkey Hill, an 18,000-acre private plantation. She has a bachelor's from Kennesaw State University. Carson Realty has five locations in the Hilton Head/Bluffton area. Beck will work from the company's new office in the Carolina Center near the entrance to Sea Pines.
Christina Forbis with Charter 1 Realty recently earned her South Carolina real estate broker's license. A broker's license represents completion of 150 hours of classroom instruction, which includes 60 hours of advanced real estate principles and practices, and at least three years of practicing real estate. Forbis has been a Realtor since 2005.
Cora Bett Thomas and Austin Hill have partnered to form a new real estate company, Cora Bett Thomas Austin Hill & Associates, which will serve buyers and sellers in coastal Georgia and the South Carolina Lowcountry. The new company will sell investment property, condominiums, historic property, homes, land, and commercial property, expanding on Cora Bett Thomas' previous focus on luxury properties.The residential sales office is at 16 E. Jones St. and a property management and commercial real estate office at 15 E. York St, both in Savannah. In Beaufort, the office at 700 Bay Street specializes in residential and commercial properties north and south of the Broad River. Thomas is the company's brokerin-charge, and has been selling real estate since 1976. A Savannah native, Austin Hill began his real estate career in 2001, and is a director of the Savannah Board of Realtors.
