- Savannah Hardscapes willparticipate in the ABC realityshow "Extreme Makeover: HomeEdition," which is being filmedin Savannah this month. In conjunctionwith builder J.T. TurnerConstruction Company, SavannahHardscapes is donating and installingbrick pavers for the home'sfront walkway and the surroundinggarden wall. The show airs at 8 p.m.Sundays on ABC.
Savannah Hardscapes is ownedby William and Jonathan Rhango.The filming kicked off in Savannahon Nov. 10, with the round-theclockbuilding project scheduledfor Nov. 13-18. The Savannah episodeis expected to air six to eightweeks after filming.
Tickets are available for "TheExtreme Extravaganza Auction" at7 p.m. Wednesday at Grayson Stadium.It will raise money to pay offthe featured family's mortgage.
Fruit trees are available through Beaufort County's Clemson Extension. Fruit tree varieties include apple, blueberry bush, fig, peach, pear, pecan, persimmon, plum for $7-$24. Flowering trees include dogwood, Bradford pear, crab apple (available in 3 colors), crepe myrtle (available in 4 colors) for $6-$13.50. Deadline for all orders is Jan. 15.

- Hampton Lake will hold an open house with holiday-themed refreshments from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 20. The community will debut eight new model homes. A Fall Arts& Crafts festival also will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 20 in Hampton Lake. The event, which is open to the public and will feature artists and vendors offering handcrafted wares, will benefit the Boys & Girls Club. Candles, custom jewelry and a variety of artwork, including works in wood and stone, will be available for purchase. Cash only.
