America’s first motorcycle company is opening shop in Savannah.
Indian Motorcycle of Savannah celebrates its grand opening from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 5 in a new 23,000 square foot facility.
“We are proud to offer iconic Indian bikes to the Savannah area,” said Bob Millsap, general manager and operating partner at Indian Motorcycle of Savannah. “Being a riding enthusiast from an early age, it’s truly a thrill to open an Indian dealership.”
Founded in 1901, the company supplied motorcycles to Allied forces in both world wars.
Indian Motorcycle was acquired by Polaris Industries in 2011.
Dealer hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The dealership is located just off I-95 at exit 94.
