The Bluffton-made "World's Largest Boiled Peanut" will appear Tuesday on the A&E show "Shipping Wars."
The show follows six independent truckers who travel the country shipping delicate, rare or hard-to-transport items.
Apparently, the truckers take a crack at shipping the 21-foot-long, nine-foot-tall peanut.
The episode starts at 10:30 p.m.
Never miss a local story.
Bluffton resident Jared Jester, who helped build the peanut, confirmed Tuesday that the boiled behemoth will be on the show but could not discuss details, citing a non-disclosure agreement he signed with the cable network. He said the episode was filmed two months ago.
The peanut is made of pine studs, plywood, chicken wire, standard insulation and closed cell spray foam insulation and exterior paint. It is on display at Cahill's Market in Bluffton.
