Locals are invited to learn about a seafood processing company and the plant it has proposed to build on the site of a former chemical plant in Seabrook at a meeting scheduled for Feb. 6.
Organized by Beaufort County Councilman Gerald Dawson, the meeting will feature a presentation from a representative of the company. Steve Giese of Millenarian Trading Company will also speak, according to a Beaufort County news release.
Attendees will also be allowed to ask questions about the proposal.
"This gives the people living within this area the chance to learn more about this organization and decide if this is a business they want in their community," Dawson said in the release.
Never miss a local story.
The community meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 6 at the James J. Davis Elementary School in Dale.
