Theater to hold opening, offer free movie

Park Plaza Cinema is holding a grand opening Sunday of its new fully digital and 3D-capable cinema.

Throughout the day starting at 11:45 a.m., the theater on the south end of Hilton Head Island will show the Academy Award-winning movie "Hugo" in 3D; admission is free, according to a news release.
