Executive chef Russell Keane, a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, plans several events around the opening next week of NEO, a new "farm-to-table" culinary "gastropub," according to a news release.
Russell will feature a menu with ingredients gathered from a 90-mile radius, such as seafood and organic farm-raised beef. Offerings also will include artisan pizzas, wines, craft beers and handcrafted cocktails.
NEO will open in greater Bluffton in the remodeled former home of Upper Crust Pizza. It will be open for dining 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with the lounge to remain open afterward.
A grand opening is planned for Monday, and a Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting will be at 5 p.m. Thursday.
