Hurricane expo to be held today
The Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2008 Hurricane Expo today at the Marriott Resort in Palmetto Dunes.
Vendors representing storm recovery and preparedness organizations will have booths set up at 8:15 a.m.
A forum will begin at 9 a.m. Speakers include Weather Channel meteorologist Jeff Morrow and director of the channel's Global Forecast Center, Dale Eck. William Winn, director of Beaufort County Emergency Management, also will speak.
