Authorities hope video surveillance footage will help identify a suspect in the April 12 armed robbery of the Walgreens drug store on Okatie Boulevard.
The robber went to the pharmacy counter, threatened employees with a handgun and demanded prescription drugs, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office news release. He fled with between 600 and 800 pills.
The robber was described by witnesses as white, 20 to 30 years old, about 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds, with slight facial hair. He was wearing black pants, a black sweatshirt, a blue-gray T-shirt, a tan hat and gray sneakers.
Anyone with information about the suspect's identity should call Cpl. B. Cooler at 843-255-3423.
