"The Hungry Woman" was inspired by, and framed within, Rancho Santa Fe's 1992 true-life murder case, the film imagines the murder mystery from the perspective of the family maid, an undocumented Mexican national who lives in an illegal migrant camp hidden in the foothills. Rated R for language, some violence and brief sexual content.
