Jack's Entry: I am 45 years old with a family history of obesity and cardiovascular disease. I am healthy at this time with the exception of border line hypertension. I have tried to lose weight many times and could not stay focused. I have recently changed jobs. I have moved from a local company to a national company and my appearance does affect the perception of my clients, peers and management in the sales world.

The Battle of the Bulge can educate me and kick start a new healthy lifestyle for me and my family. The weight loss I achieve will help boost my confidence in public, and I will not feel ashamed of my appearance when in public with my wife and children. I used to go to the beach all summer and it would be nice to be able to go again and not feel self conscious of my weight. Battle of the Bulge, PLEASE PICK ME AS ONE OF YOUR CONTESTANTS AND I WILL WIN THIS CONTEST FOR MY FAMILY AND MYSELF.
