Derrick's Entry: I am 35 years old, and I am the local On Air Morning Show Host of the Gospel Radio Station WVGB Victory 1490. I have five children ranging in age from a one-year-old to a 13-year-old; not to mention I have another child due in February.

I love playing with my children but quite frankly, it's hard when you are overweight. They like to play on Daddy's belly, but I would really have more fun if I had the energy to keep up with them and do more outdoor activities with them as well.

My wife would also benefit from me losing this excess weight as well! :-) I guess simply putting my family is the main reason I want to be involved in this, but as I get older, my health is becoming more of a priority with me.

It's my prayer that you choose me; plus we could feature this story on my radio show as well.
