Angela's Entry: I am 33 years old and I weigh 255 lbs. I am miserable at this weight. I have been fighting a losing battle of yo-yo dieting since I was about 12 or 13 years old. I've tried many fad diets, but the most success I've had was with diet pills, which I realize is very unhealthy. Finally I have come to the realization that the only way to achieve my goal of permanent weight loss is through a healthy diet and exercise. The problem is I'm not sure how.

The reason it is so important for me to participate in the Battle of the Bulge is for the education and motivation of finally doing this the right way.
