• 24th Annual Kiwanis Club Chili Cookoff: Noon-4 p.m. today at the pavilion at Honey Horn, Hilton Head Island. Tickets are $12 at the door. Each ticket allows the holder to as many samples of chili as he or she wants. Proceeds from the event benefit The Children's Center, the Hilton Head Island Boys & Girls Club, the Coastal Discovery Museum, Operation R&R and several other youth programs.
