Pianist Wang makes SC debut at arts center

Pianist Xiayin Wang will make her South Carolina debut in a recital at 8 p.m. Friday at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, 14 Shelter Cove Lane on Hilton Head Island.

Wang will perform selections from her recent CD, "Scriabin Piano Music."

The program also will include performances of works by Haydn, Chopin, Debussy, Gershwin and Ravel.
