The group -- which consisted of adults and children -- painted the entrance, hallway and built a wall at Literacy Volunteers; painted the director's office, cleaned grout, sanded and stained picnic benches and created placemats for the Boys and Girls Club. ServeFest is a group of volunteers from Live Oak Christian Church who want to make a difference in the community with a practical way of giving back. Every quarter, they participate in the "Big Serve."
