God's Goods Thrift Store, a ministry of The Church of the Cross in Bluffton, will celebrate its one-year anniversary with live music, food, drink and birthday cake from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

The church's mission council oversees the store and distributes money generated from the sale of clothing, furniture, toys, books and kitchen appliances. Anniversary sale items will include half-price clothing and discounts on housewares, linens, furniture and televisions.
Live music begins at 10 a.m. Doughnuts and coffee will be served from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and hot dogs and cold drinks from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Birthday cake will be served from 1 to 3 p.m.
The store is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. Donations are accepted any time the store is open and from 9 a.m. to noon Mondays. The store is at 53 Persimmon St., Suite 103, off Bluffton Parkway.
