What is your favorite ingredient to work with this time of year?

My favorite ingredient this time of year, I would have to say, is turkey. There are several other ways to prepare turkey other than what many of us grew up on, which was throw it in the oven and forget about it for several hours. I like smoking and then frying the turkey. You get the best of both worlds. I do a dry rub and stuff the turkey with fresh herbs during the smoking process.
What do you have the most fun cooking?
I have the most fun preparing soups. There are so many options, and I am always down for trying new recipes.
Person you would most like to cook for?
If there was anyone I would like to cook for I think it would be Anthony Bourdain, because he loves pork and so do I.
Do you enjoy watching cooking shows? Any favorites?
I enjoy several cooking shows and shows about restaurants in general. If I were to pick a favorite I would say "Chopped," because it shows how important efficiency is.
What's in your fridge at home right now?
In my fridge at home right now I have a pork tenderloin, a couple of N.Y. strips, fresh produce and plenty of juice.
