Long Cove Club, a community on Hilton Head Island, has hired a new executive chef.
Xavier Gomez, who served as head chef at River Run Country Club, as well as Prestonwood Country Club and Bald Head Island Country Club in North Carolina, will take over the club's top culinary position. He has more than three decades of high-end cooking experience, according to a press release.
"We are thrilled to have such exceptional talent on board. He will be a wonderful addition as we prepare to open our newly renovated clubhouse," Geoff Lyon, Long Cove Board president, said.
