Occupation: Principal at Hilton Head Island High School
Favorite mommy moment: It is so hard to list one specific moment. Listening to giggles, watching them sleep, reading to them, teaching them to pray, watching them run. I could go on and on. But my favorite mommy moment was when my son first saw his twin sisters at the hospital and the first words out of his mouth were, "I love them."
Go-to dinner: Wendy's is on the way home from work, so I pick up a lot of Wendy's. And I order lots of pizza from Mangiamo's and Giuseppi's. I rarely have time to cook dinner since I am seldom home for dinner.
Toy or product you can't live without: Lacrosse stick and swim goggles
Favorite book and why: The Bible. It is life's basic instruction guide.
Beach must-haves: Shovels, buckets and a boogie board
Who inspires you? My mom and dad ... to be a better person and leave the world a better place, even when it is not the popular thing to do.
Biggest stressor: My job. I worry about the various students who go through trauma and problems at home. I lose sleep thinking about some of the things our students have to deal with.
Hidden talent: I don't have time to have a hidden talent.
Advice for other moms: Children watch your every move, and words do speak nearly as loud as actions. Live the life you want your children to witness, a life they aspire to have.
