Name: Sarah Robertson
Children: Clayton, 11
Occupation: Real estate and corporate lawyer with McNair Law Firm, P.A.
Favorite mommy moment: Walking in the door from work at the end of the day and seeing Clayton's beautiful smile and getting a big hug.
Most challenging moment: Watching Clayton being rolled away in a red wagon, hugging a teddy bear to go into surgery for his tonsillectomy when he was 3 years old.
Go-to dinner: Roast beef in the slow cooker. It's so great to come home to dinner ready to serve.
Favorite local event or spot: The RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing
What did you learn from your mom that you now use? My mom was a single mom who owned her own hair salon. She did it all on her own -- and always with a smile on her face -- so I grew up believing I could do it all, and I still believe that. Mom has lived with me for several years, and she is a tremendous help to me and Clayton. She was diagnosed with lung cancer a few months ago, but she is fighting it -- with a smile on her face.
Biggest stressor: There never are enough minutes in the day.
Stress reliever: Curling up with a good book or being pampered with a relaxing facial
Favorite movie: "Gone with the Wind"
What surprises you about being a mom? It really is true that you never fully understand the capacity to love someone until you have a child.
Advice for other moms: Always think about what impact your actions will have on your kids, tell your kids you love them every day, read to your kids, and make sure you take care of yourself along with your family.
