Go-to dinner: Homemade chicken noodle soup
Biggest pet peeve: People saying mean things about others
Hobbies: Exercising, working in the garden with her husband and boating

Favorite mommy moment: "Just seeing my kids with younger children," she said. "They have younger cousins ... They are just so affectionate and loving towards them. And that just makes me feel that I must've done something right for them to be so kind and loving to little children. That makes me feel good."
Most challenging moment: "I always laugh when people get stressed out about the terrible twos because the terrible twos are nothing compared to the terrible 18s," she said. "Just wait until your daughter turns 18. It's been the most challenging year for me. It's their first year on their own, starting college, and they just kind of think they can make their own decisions. You just have to pray that you train them up to make wise choices. So that's probably my most challenging moment is raising teenage girls and learning when to keep my mouth shut and just trusting ... that God is going to take care of (them). I have no control over it."
Stress reliever: Taking a bath and reading
Advice for other moms: "Don't always take life so seriously," Lawson said. "Try to find something to smile or laugh about, even when you are sad or mad. A smile can change attitudes and soften hearts."
