Name: Lynn Wiltse
Husband: Daniel
Town: Bluffton
Children: Corbin, 9; Carter, 6; Carolina, 1
Occupation: Finance and Human Resources administrator for the Bluffton Township Fire District
Go-to dinner: Spaghetti
Biggest pet peeve: People not thinking about how their actions affect others
Hobbies: Scrapbooking, blogging and going to Walt Disney World
Volunteer work: Wiltse is a member of the Bluffton Township Fire Department Auxiliary. She is on the board for the Lowcountry Rockin' the Pink Breast Cancer Walk. She's also involved in the PTO at Okatie Elementary School.
Favorite mommy moment: Wiltse said the best part of her day is when she comes home and the kids are excited to see her. "Now the baby is really starting to recognize me and be excited when I come home, where before she cared about her toys more than anybody else," Wiltse said.
Most challenging moment: "Just trying to juggle everything and have a good career, but also trying to be a good mom," she said.
Stress reliever: Playing with the kids, reading books together, talking about our day
Advice for other moms: "Always have some kind of a dream or goal or something that you're working toward," she said. "Always try and see the good in every situation as bad as it seems at that moment. There's something good in there somewhere that you can work from. And just love every second you have with your kids. I think that's the biggest thing I've learned being a mom. You're never going to see that excitement of losing that first tooth ever again. Just try and live in that moment."
