For the first time on "American Idol," no one went home Thursday night.
Because the judges have not used a "save" this season -- which allows a contestant who has been eliminated to move on to the next week -- the show had an extra week to fill before the finale on May 15.
As a result, the Top 4, including St. Helena Island native Candice Glover, will perform again Wednesday on the hit Fox show.
Voters put Glover and contestant Amber Holcomb in the bottom two this week, and put Angie Miller and Kree Harrison in the top two.
Those votes followed a Glover performance Wednesday night that saw the singer criticized for the first time this season.
Some of the judges didn't like her take on Drake's "Find Your Love"
Reviewing Glover's performance, host Ryan Seacrest said Thursday night that Drake had a message for Glover. In an audio message, Drake said: "I was so honored that you sang my song and you did such an incredible job. You have such an incredible voice, so angelic."
Then the R&B rapper surprised Glover by walking on stage.
Glover screamed, ran away for a moment and then returned to give her idol a hug.
"I love you so much," Glover told him. "Thank you so much for coming."
Glover will perform Wednesday in the "Idol" Top 4. The show airs from 8 to 10 p.m. on Fox.
The votes from this week and next will be combined to determine the Top 3, who will then visit their respective hometowns for a concert and parade.
