Shayne and Kevin Pitts of Beaufort announce the birth of a daughter, Madeline Rose Pitts, at 7:17 p.m. May 16 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. The newborn weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches. She has a sister, Leah, 3. Maternal grandparents are Sue and Phillip Close of Smithville, Tenn., and Cheryl and Steve Addington of Murfreesboro, Tenn. Paternal grandparents are Patti and David Pitts of Knoxville, Tenn.
