Elizabeth Ruby Howard and Pennock Stephen Ten Eyck of Beaufort were married at 4:00 p.m. March 24, 2012, at Carteret Street United Methodist Church in Beaufort.
The bride is the daughter of Gene and Alice Howard of Beaufort. She is the granddaughter of the late Samuel and Mary Griffin of Columbus, Ga., and the late Chester and Ruby Howard of Columbus.
The groom is the son of Deborah Ten Eyck of Beaufort and Peter Ten Eyck of Rock Hill, S.C. He is grandson of Mrs. Mary Ten Eyck of Tully, N.Y., and the late Mr. Hendrix Ten Eyck and the late Edith and Walter Urban.
Officiating the ceremony was the Rev. Susan Ulmer.

The groom's father served as best man. Groom's attendants were Peter Ten Eyck of Wilmington, N.C.; Joshua Ten Eyck of Savannah, Ga.; James Barker of Atlanta, Ga., and Daniel Langan of Beaufort.
Flower girls were Abi Wiley of Beaufort and Summer Ten Eyck, niece of the groom, of Wilmington.
A reception followed at Dataw Island Club.
After a honeymoon in Vieques, Puerto Rico the couple will reside in Beaufort
The bride is a graduate of East Carolina University and was president of Zeta Tau Alpha. She is employed as a dance teacher at Lady's Island Elementary School and Jayne Richardson's Dance Studio.
The groom is a graduate of Trident Technical College. He is employed as the pastry chef at Saltus River Grill.
