• Weichert Realtors-Coastal Properties and the United States Marine Corps Reserve are kicking off the annual Toys for Tots drive. Drop off a new, unwrapped toys at any of the company's offices -- on Hilton Head Island atSea Pines Center or in Bluffton at Rose Hill's estate side or Sun City. • Hampton Lake, the first private lake community in the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton area, raised $1,200 for the Bluffton Fire Prevention Fund during its Pumpkin Fest event Oct. 25. The event drew a crowd of more than 500 and included boat tours and fishing tournaments.
