Jessica Nichole Coleman, Donald Miles Dean engaged

Donna Eouzan of Raleigh N.C. and Robert Coleman Sr. of Columbia announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Nichole Coleman of Port Royal to Donald Miles Dean of Sheldon the son of Donald R. Dean and Cynthia M. Dean of Sheldon.

The bride-elect is a granddaughter of Walter and Paula Springs of Darlington and Virginia Coleman of Columbia and the late Harold Coleman.

She is a 2003 graduate of Enloe High School of Raleigh, N.C. and a 2007 graduate of Johnson and Wales University of Charlotte N.C. with a degree in Culinary Arts and Food service management. She is currently employed at Fripp Island Resort and Lowcountry Produce in Lobeco.

The groom-elect is a grandson of B.H. and Margie Mixson of Sheldon and D.L. Dean of Varnville and the late Pauline Dean.

He is a 2003 graduate of Thomas Heyward Academy in Ridgeland and a 2007 graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, N.C. with a degree in Culinary Arts and Food service management. He is employed as a chef at the Wren restaurant in Beaufort.

The wedding is planned Dec. 5, 2009, at the Old Sheldon Church Ruins.
