Cromer, Langford engaged

Mr. and Mrs. Philip Earle Cromer announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Helen Fripp Aimar Cromer, to James Hamilton Langford III, both of Beaufort. Mr. Langford is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton Langford II, of Seabrook.

A May wedding is planned.

Miss Cromer received a BS in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in Retail from the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business. She is employed by Langford Construction Co.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Julia Thomas Cromer and the late Dr. Philip Sidney Cromer Jr., MD, of Charleston, and Dr. and Mrs. Charles Schley Aimar, of Beaufort.

Mr. Langford received a BA in History from the University of SC and is a project manager and carpenter for Langford Construction.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Billie Smith Langford and the late Gaston Leonidas Langford II, of Ridgeland, and Mildred Bowen Richard and the late Retired Major Roy Richard, of Beaufort.
