Grimsley, Antelme engaged

Mr. and Mrs. James Alexander Grimsley III, of Beaufort, announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Elisabeth, to Lt. Colonel Charles Kane Antelme, both of both of London, United Kingdom.

The bride-to-be graduated Beaufort High School class of 2001, Wofford College with a degree in Art History and French, and completed a Masters in Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in 2009. She is currently curating a private art collection between Paris and London.

Lt. Colonel Antelme is the son of Mr and Mrs Leopold Antelme, of Hurstbourne Tarrant, Hampshire.

He graduated Exeter University, London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned in the Welsh Guards in 1995. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order for his military service in Iraq in 2007. He now commands 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.

An April wedding in Beaufort is planned.
