Billy and Janet Thames were married Nov. 6, 1959, in Beaufort.

They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family Nov. 6-7, 2009. They are excited about starting on their next 50 years together.

They have three children:Leisha Thames of Beaufort, Tim (Ellen) Thames of Columbia, and Cindy (Troy) Long of Dickinson, N.D. They have seven grandchildren: Caleb (Crystal) Murray, Brandy Martin, Brian Bonk; Seth, Savannah and Kohl Long; and Mac Thames. They have five great-granchildren: Ariah Almendariz; Taylor and Landon Bonk; and Taylor and Alex Pinto. Happy Anniversary and Much Love from your family!
