The school is all he has known since kindergarten, and he wanted to leave his mark during his final home game. That Northwood Academy dismantled the Eagles during the first meeting provided further motivation.
Reynolds looked for his shot from the start, helping set the tone as the Christian Academy boys basketball team defeated the Chargers 63-49. Reynolds scored eight of his 15 points during the first quarter.

Wesley Scott, not satisfied with his maroon shirt and black tie, pulled off his grey sweater and tugged on a hooded sweatshirt bearing the Miami (Ohio) University logo.
The Ridgeland defensive end never wavered from his verbal commitment to the RedHawks, making it official Wednesday at the Jasper County School District boardroom. Scott said he entertained no thoughts of other schools since committing last year.
Scott said RedHawks coaches want him at 280 pounds, up from the 235 he weighs now. A new diet and life in the weight room are on the horizon.

Taylor MacDonald and his Hilton Head Christian Academy boys basketball teammates recognized Tuesday that a successful season hinged on games like this.
The Eagles wanted to take care of business at home, to earn a region victory over rival Hilton Head Prep and improve their playoff standing. To do so, MacDonald knew he would need some help in the scoring column.
Multiple players did just that during a 65-49 victory, as Hilton Head Christian (8-6, 1-1 SCISAA Region 2-AA) bounced back from a loss at Pinewood Prep to open region play. The Eagles will have a chance to avenge that loss to Pinewood on Friday at home.

Three weeks after playing for the Class 3-A state football championship, Bluffton High School players and coaches sill haven't had much time to reflect on their team's record-breaking season.
Many players transitioned to basketball. Head coach Ken Cribb prepared for and coached on the Shrine Bowl staff. And linebacker Michael Grant started in the all-star game.
But given a moment, in the quiet confines of a school deserted for the holiday break, three of the Bobcats' key components reflected on a 14-1 season, which ended with a loss to South Pointe in Clemson's Memorial Stadium.
