The South's newest reality show — a "docu-series" that aims to show the lives of the elite in Charleston — is here.
Bravo's "Southern Charm" debuts at 10 p.m. March 2. The show follows six singles, including Hilton Head Island native Shep Rose, as they navigate polo, garden parties and more.
Rose is joined by former S.C. treasurer Thomas Ravenel, who served time in federal prison on cocaine-distribution charges; law student (and Delaware-bred) Craig Conover; Whitney Sudler-Smith, a filmmaker who has spent the last 17 years in Los Angeles; Cameran Eubanks, who works in real estate (but you know her from "Real World: San Diego"); and Jenna King, a Sumter native with a passion for fashion. For more on the cast, read our story about Rose or click here for their Bravo profiles.
We'll be tweeting our reactions during the premiere at @IPBGCurrent. Join us there, follow our list of cast members and those we know to be watching, and take a peek at the national buzz by searching #SouthernCharm.
Never miss a local story.
If just watching the debauchery unfold isn't enough, we've created bingo cards to liven things up. Anytime you hear a mention of "Peter Pan Syndrome," spot some well-known Charleston sites or catch Rose mentioning his profession ("raconteur"), mark the appropriate space off. Let us know when you reach bingo (or "Charm," as it were) by tweeting at us (@IPBGCurrent) or posting on our Facebook.
Have fun, y'all!
