If you’re looking for something a little more romantic than the usual hearts and flowers this Valentine’s Day, you may want to consider a couple of concerts coming up this weekend.
The Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra will present “Valentine Romance,” featuring such romantic pieces as Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet,” Debussy’s Claire de Lune, Bernstein’s “West Side Story Overture” and many others.
In addition, Melody Sim, the 2015 winner of the orchestra’s Youth Concerto Competition, will make her professional debut, playing as soloist during the program.
The concerts are 4 p.m. Sunday and 8 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 540 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head.
Never miss a local story.
Tickets range from $30 to $55.
