When Shrek meets Fiona, a princess with a secret, the two fall in love, and the journey takes on a whole new meaning.
The story behind the show: This production, one of the most ambitious ever mounted at this nonprofit theater, is the Southeastern premiere for an amateur group. It was chosen for its popularity and connections with the blockbuster movie.
Director's take: "Everything that people loved about the movie will be replicated in this stage production, from the music to the set, from the costumes to the universal theme of acceptance."
