The University of South Carolina Beaufort Festival Series, directed by Edward Arron, will showcase performances of prize-winning musicians at 5 p.m. Sunday at the USCB Center for the Arts.

Pianist John Novacek will be on center stage, joined by three other artists for Dmitri Shostakovich's "Opus 127" and four shorter pieces by Robert Schumann. Other performers for the event include vocalist Hyunah Yu, violinist Jesse Mills, and cellist and series artistic director Arron.

Ticket prices start at $40 and can be purchased in advance through Staci Breton at 843-208-8246. Tickets are available the evening of the event at the USCB Center for the Arts on Carteret Street in Beaufort.
