Comic Manny Oliveira, who divides his sets between traditional stand-up and improvisational exchanges with his audiences, performs tonight through Saturday at the Hilton Head Comedy Club. The Atlanta-based Oliveira, an established actor who turned to stand-up some three decades ago, focuses on relationships, family, religion and current events for about half of his shows, then orders club personnel to "turn up the house lights" to better view crowds for off-the-cuff and light-hearted jibes about their professions and personal background. Oliveira, nicknamed "The Master of Improvisation," performs at 8 p.m. nightly in the upstairs showroom at the Kingfisher restaurant, 18 Harbourside Lane at Shelter Cove. Admission is $12 a person and advance reservations are recommended by phoning 843-681-7757. More information at www.hiltonheadcomedyclub.com.
