• Michael C. Riley Elementary School's School Improvement Council invites the Bluffton community to participate in the inaugural Uniform Drive and Swap.

Organizers of the uniform drive are requesting new or gently used donations of belts, shirts (short and long-sleeve polo-type shirts in navy, white, gold and red), shorts, pants and skirts (navy or khaki) and sweaters and sweatshirts (hoodless in navy, gold, white or red). Clothing donations will be accepted through Friday.

When parents make donations, they will be issued an "Exchange Ticket" to be used at the uniform swap. The swap will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the

M.C. Riley library.

The school's student council is also sponsoring a holiday food drive through Nov. 13. All food boxes will be distributed to families in need from the Bluffton community.

• Hospice Care of the Lowcountry's seventh annual Kid's Bereavement Camp begins Saturday in Hampton Lake in Bluffton.

The camp is open to any child ages 6-16 in Beaufort, Jasper or Hampton counties who has experienced the loss of a family member or other significant person.

• The Sun City Community Theatre will present "The Lion in Winter" at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29-31 and 2 p.m. Oct. 31 at Magnolia Hall in Sun City Hilton Head.

Tickets are $18-$20 and can be purchased at the box office in Magnolia Hall from 9 to 11 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

During the week of the show, tickets can be purchased from 9 to 11 a.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 30 minutes prior to each performance.

• Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit" will open at the May River Theatre at 8 p.m. Nov. 6 and continue with evening performances on Nov. 7, 13-14, 20-21 and 3 p.m. matinees Nov. 8, 15 and 22. All performances will be in Bluffton Town Hall's Ulmer Auditorium at the corner of Pritchard and Bridge streets in downtown Bluffton. Reserved seating can be purchased through Nov. 20 by calling 843-815-5581. All tickets are $20. • Farmers Market of Bluffton: 2-6 p.m. Every Thursday through Nov. 19 at 40 Calhoun St. in the Carson Cottages in old town Bluffton.
