"Reachable," and "not untouchable." Those were a couple of the descriptions of Arnold Palmer inside Sea Pines on Sept. 26, 2016, less than a day after Palmer passed away at age 87. Cary Corbitt, VP of Sports & Operations at Sea Pines, and Steve Wilmot, president of the RBC Heritage, said what Palmer's victory at the inaugural Heritage — in 1969 — did for the tournament, and Hilton Head, cannot be overstated.
