SC DMV celebrates renovated Rock Hill office

The Associated PressJuly 16, 2014

— The S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles is celebrating the opening of its newly-renovated Rock Hill office.

DMV spokeswoman Beth Parks says Wednesday's event is from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the office on Hands Mill Road.

Parks says the new office includes an additional 1,200 square feet of office space, a larger lobby area and four new customer service stations.

A second camera station has been added as well as a new room for testing. The entire facility is accessible for customers with disabilities.

The office was closed for a week in June while the renovations were underway.
