BRAVO

Bravo TV announced today at the Television Correspondents Association media tour in Los Angeles that it has renewed the reality series “Southern Charm” for a second season.

The show follows six members of Charleston’s wealthy elite and their high society shenanigans.

The first season featured our favorite Hilton Head Island playboy Shep Rose, “Real World” star Cameran Eubanks, Charleston School of Law student Craig Conover, aspiring fashion designer Jenna King, film director Whitney Sudler-Smith and former S.C. Treasurer Thomas Ravenel.

Ravenel, who filed to run for U.S. Senate on Monday morning, previously said on Twitter that he isn’t looking for any more Bravo stints and wouldn’t be a part of a second season.

However, according to Kelly Gukanovich Bazzle, a radio personality for WCOO 105.5 The Bridge in Charleston, Ravenel was drunkenly tweeting and didn’t really mean it. It sounds reasonable, considering how “in the cups” the disgraced politician is wont to be.

Bravo could not confirm whether Ravenel and girlfriend/baby mama Kathryn Dennis would be absent from the second season. The pair’s relationship was the central storyline of season one.
