Hilton Head O-Zone team falls to Sumter, 20-9

Hilton Head fell to Sumter, 20-9, Sunday night in the Dixie Youth Baseball O-Zone state tournament in Hartsville.

Cole DeMarzo led Hilton Head at the plate, going 2 for 2 with a home run and five RBIs. Nate Deas added a homer and three RBIs.

Daniel Keber was 2 for 3, Will Brogan was 1 for 1 with two walks and Lucas Parrella was 1 for 3.

"We just ran into a big strong team full of 12-year-olds," coach Dobbie Green said.

Hilton Head will face Lexington at 5:30 p.m. Monday in an elimination game.
