Class to discuss severe weather

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Emergency Management Division will host a "storm spotter" class from 1 to 3 p.m. July 23.

The class will be in the Emergency Operations Center on the second floor of the Sheriff's Office, 2001 Duke St., Beaufort. A representative from the National Weather Service's Charleston office will talk about severe weather. This session is free and open to the public.
