— Responding to a call about a burglary Thursday morning, Lexington County deputies arrested a 16-year-old walking on Vonda Drive, Lexington County Sheriff A. Lewis McCarty said in a news release.

According to deputies, the boy was in possession of a computer reported stolen from the Vonda Drive home, as well as several bottles of Coca-Cola.

The boy, who was not identified because he is a juvenile, was being held at the state operated juvenile detention center on Broad River Road Thursday afternoon.

The case remains under investigation, McCarty said.
