Beaufort counting down to Tomato Festival

The Beaufort Tomato Festival is Saturday. Here's what you need to know to go:

WHAT: The Tomato Festival

WHEN: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 12

WHERE: 5 Cane Island Farm Road, Beaufort

COST: Tickets are $45 for the 5K; $20 for the tomato fight only; $10 for the Kids Zone with games; and $5 for the fun run.



8 a.m.: Registration/runners sign in

10 a.m.: Kids Fun Run -- 1/2 mile

10:30 a.m.: Tomato Bash Obstacle Run 5K (Timed)

11 a.m.: Tomato Bash Obstacle Run 5K

11 a.m.-4 p.m.: The Kids Zone is open

Noon: Tomato Fight
