Firefighters work to extinguish a blaze the evening of June 30, 2014, at the former Great American Cleaners on Palmetto Bay Road on Hilton Head Island. Firefighters responded about 5 p.m. to find the building's roof consumed by flames, said Hilton Head Fire and Rescue spokeswoman Joheida Fister. By about 6:30 p.m., they had the fire under control, but not before part of the roof collapsed, Fister said. Video submitted by Karen Marts.
