Suspect in Burton home invasion turns himself in

A Beaufort man wanted in connection with a home invasion Tuesday turned himself in to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office on Saturday, according to a news release.

Travis O'Neil Jenkins, 28, was charged with first-degree burglary, armed robbery and possession of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime, the release said. He and three other men, one of whom has been arrested, are accused of breaking into a Burton home, holding the resident at gunpoint and stealing a TV, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Suspects Steven Javon Chisholm, 26, of Burton and Terral Vincent Thompson, 24, of Burton are still at large.

Cornelius Watson Jr., 24, of Beaufort turned himself in Wednesday.

Jenkins is being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center pending bond hearings, according to the jail log.
